MAGNACOAT is a water-based modified
urethane dispersion which is designed for application over floors
(eg. timber and cork, etc) as well as for other applications
such as furniture. “MAGNACOAT” is a single pack product which
cross-links itself via the diffusion of atmospheric oxygen into
the applied film. Owing to its water borne nature, no toxic
or carcinogenic aromatic solvents are involved and occupants
do not have to leave the premises during application. “MAGNACOAT”
provides a very hard wearing gloss (or satin) finish which is
comparable to solvent borne equivalent products, and only water
is required for cleaning up.
WARNING : Coating of surfaces exposed to sunlight.
Our initial tests have shown that MAGNACOAT displays a reasonable
performance under sunlight, but this testwork was very limited
in scope and did not evaluate a full range of timbers. We strongly
recommend that a test is carried out prior to coating exterior
timbers, since no warranty or guarantee is made in this respect.
