Flexoseal is a single pack water-based durable black flexible membrane which is composed of a blend of a powerful water-based bitumen and a dispersed liquid rubber compound, which have been carefully formulated to produce a coating with some unique properties. Once fully cured, the film can resist water penetration, even when submerged.
Flexoseal can be used to solve many problems, including repairs to suspended verandahs (including the repair of leaks between eg. balconies and exterior walls), sealing retaining walls against penetration of moisture from the backfill, water-proofing the exterior walls of subterranean cellars, workshops, wine storage areas, etc.
- Gives off no fumes
- Quick development of adhesion

- Easy to roll on or brush
- Goes over any clean dry surface
- Early water resistance
- No toxic fumes or solvents
- Can be recoated at any time if required

THE SOLUTION: The area is masked out with tape and painted with a thick coat of beige FLEXOSEAL. A strip of FLEXOCLOTH is cut and applied over wet surface and painted over again. (see PRODUCT INFORMATION SHEET)
Badly rusted and leaking gutter primed with METALFIX and top coated with black FLEXOSEAL ( use strips of FLEXOCLOTH for any joints and seams)
A view of the tanks in series. The FLEXOSEAL protects the slightly acidic waste water from attacking the concrete.
FLEXOSEAL can also be used to seal the interiors of water tanks, and can renovate older tanks (also see METALFIX)
View of the top area of the subterranean water storage tank, before landscaping. FLEXOCLOTH strips were used over all joints and seams.
The FLEXOSEAL can be built up over the Flexocloth base, to form a very tough, flexible, and durable membrane. The thickness of the film can be varied, but is typically in the range 2mm to 3mm. The sheet widths are from 200mm to 1.2 metres and the lengths are in a standard 10 metres
